60-70% of our tasks at the workplace are monotonous and based on patterns: it is true for those tasks where the value derives from a sequence of movements (physical work), or from rational, empiric way explainable by a sequence of choices (intellectual work). The percentage above could be surprising, but after we think about it a little, we can easily conclude that it’s real.
